Closed a 24-unit in 90 days with two members I met at the March table.

I'd been underwriting that deal for six months solo. Brought it to the table on a Tuesday, had a co-GP signed by Friday.

Split $14K in due diligence on a 16-unit with three members. Deal closed. Costs split four ways.

The due-diligence cost-split alone paid for my membership ten times over.

Red-lined a 32-unit term sheet with a member who'd done five similar deals. Saved $80K in legal fees.

Closed my first acquisition six weeks after my first Convene table. Had never bought without a client before.

I knew how to underwrite for clients. Learning to underwrite for myself was a different muscle. This room built it.

// About Convene

A shared table.
Not a platform.

Convene began as a bimonthly breakfast in Austin between six landlords who were tired of running solo. They brought deal flow, red-lined term sheets shoulder to shoulder, and split due-diligence costs on a 32-unit none of them would have touched alone.

The model worked. The table grew. Today Convene operates in fourteen cities with over 340 active members — mid-career investors holding between four and forty doors, syndicators assembling their first capital stack, and former brokers who crossed to the buy side and needed a brain trust that speaks cap rates, not platitudes.

Every applicant is screened. Every seat is limited to 24. The table stays small because the work requires trust, and trust requires faces.
